It is with great pride that I report that we have been officially certified organic by CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers). The certification concerns how we run the vineyard today and how we have been running it for over three years. We received the certification because of Omar Valdez’s leadership. He created the vision, educated me, and did the hard work it took to make this happen.
The certification will support us in being responsible stewards of the environment, creating healthy work conditions, and harvesting grapes that are healthy for people to consume. Our vineyard’s mission is to produce the highest-quality grapes through collaboration with the latest research and the experience of those who have known the vineyard for more than 20 years.
